Cloud Computing is a model for delivering IT services over the internet, enabling access to and use of computing resources such as servers, storage, databases, networks, and software without the need for on-site physical infrastructure.

Its key services include:

• Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) – provides resources like virtual servers, distributed storage and processing, and virtual networks, allowing users to build their own development platforms and applications.
• Platform as a Service (PaaS) – offers a complete development environment, including tools, libraries, and infrastructure, making it easier to develop, test, and deploy software solutions.
• Software as a Service (SaaS) – delivers ready-to-use applications accessible via the internet, without the need for local installation.

Cloud Computing is divided into four models that support the organization:

• Private Cloud – dedicated to a single organization, offering greater control over security and customization, typically maintained internally or by a third-party provider.
• Public Cloud – maintained by a service provider and shared among multiple organizations, offering scalability and lower costs but with less control over internal infrastructure.
• Hybrid Cloud – combines both models, allowing integration between public and private clouds, offering flexibility and customization.
• Multicloud – involves the simultaneous use of cloud services from different providers in a coordinated manner, reducing dependency on a single cloud provider. For example, using data storage from Amazon AWS, application development and testing environments from Microsoft Azure, and implementing artificial intelligence solutions on Google Cloud Platform.
